ATTMA Membership Requirements for ATTMA and Clients

The following is paraphrased from ATTMA’s membership conditions:
  • Adept Air ltd agrees that the member organisation, along with the names of all registered testers or EA Calculators, may be listed on the website, including operational status and certification levels.
  • Adept Air ltd agrees to keep up-to-date calibration records for all registered equipment at all times, or to declare when equipment is not in use.
  • Adept Air ltd agrees to ensure that all tests carried out by its testers are lodged, including any failed tests.
  • Adept Air ltd agrees that ATTMA may collect and store air permeability test data through the lodgement process for all tests carried out.

Privacy, Data Retention and Data Requests

For GDPR purposes, the personal data we usually hold is limited to your name and work-related contact information. Our contracts and communications relate to business-to-business services, rather than personal matters. We still treat this information as confidential and will not share it with third parties unless required to do so.

Scope of this privacy policy

This privacy and cookie policy applies only to pages on the AdeptAir.uk domain. Links to other websites are provided for convenience and do not mean that Adept Air ltd is responsible for those external websites. This policy also covers Adept Air Ltd employees and their actions when carrying out company business.

Emails

If you receive marketing emails from Adept Air ltd and would like them to stop, please reply with “unsubscribe” in the subject line. We will stop sending future marketing emails as soon as possible, unless an email is already in transit.

Requests for your data

Because the correspondence and data relate to your work, requests may be made by you or by company officers listed at Companies House, provided the request comes from the same email domain defined in the contract. Other requests will be reviewed based on the validity of the person making the request.

Contracts & test data

ATTMA requires Adept Air ltd to keep records for each job for at least six years from the date of any building test. These records must include, as a minimum, copies of air tightness test results, supporting data and certificates required under Regulation 43 of the Building Regulations 2026.

Unsubscribe & no-contact list.

If a person or company asks not to be contacted by Adept Air ltd, we will keep their contact details together with the date of the request so we can honour it. Communications that are required for an existing contract are not affected by no-contact requests.

Requests to amend data

Requests to amend, correct or delete data will be actioned within 10 working days where the data can be changed. Contact details and email subscriptions are examples of data that can usually be updated. Some data cannot be amended because of legal requirements. This includes contracts, test data and test results that form part of a legal record. Where this applies, we will keep an additional record of the data-change request to provide a fuller picture.

Speculative enquiries

Enquiries that do not lead to a test or site visit will be deleted after 60 days.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with any aspect of Adept Air ltd’s service, please email Complaints@AdeptAir.uk. Please include details of your concern so we can understand the issue clearly. We ask that all communication remains polite and avoids offensive language. We will do our utmost to help and will deal with your concerns professionally. Emails will be acknowledged within 24 hours, with further information about how your concern will be handled.

Concerns with the air test

The air test is an objective process carried out in line with the ATTMA standard. Checks are in place to help identify certain types of mistakes or oversights. If you believe a test has not followed the required standards, please contact us at Complaints@AdeptAir.uk. Where possible, we will make every effort to resolve any issues on site. However, site time may be limited or restricted because of prior agreements. If there is not enough time to deal with the matter during the visit, we will arrange a return visit, phone call, or email follow-up. If needed, concerns can also be escalated by contacting ATTMA

Insurance cover

Adept Air ltd is insured through Thomas, Carroll (Brokers) Limited, with cover in place for both Professional Indemnity and Public Liability. This includes up to £5,000,000 for Professional Indemnity claims and up to £2,000,000 for Public Liability claims.
